At the Brownsville International Airport, we were part of the team that completed the installation of the HVAC System for the new 92,000-square-foot Airport Terminal and Customs and Border Protection building. Our scope included prefabrication of all stainless-steel moldings, trim and corner guards that were fed from the four large air handlers, dedicated outside air units, and nearly 100 VAV boxes. The installation of three air-cooled chillers and all above- and below-ground piping was part of the mechanical package. Lastly, zone controls were installed for the entire facility, with a new BAS system for all mechanical equipment.
