In partnering with La Joya ISD and Palmview High School, our team retrofitted three cooling towers serving the chilled water system. The utilization of 3D scanning and BIM enhanced our Pre-Construction approach and installation measures since we were able to prefabricate the polymer piping system. These measures assisted in minimizing downtime for the owner and provided for a streamlined installation schedule. During the installation process, part of our turn-key solution was to provide 400 tons of temporary cooling to keep the classrooms operational, with zero downtime for the school.
