Cameron County Administration Building

At the Administration Building for Cameron County, we were part of a design-build retrofit of the eight-story building. Included in the solution was the installation of two 250-ton air-cooled chillers, four new air handlers, new ductwork, and steel piping systems to the second floor mechanical room with VAV boxes and an upgraded controls system.

Harlingen Border Patrol

In partnering with the Border Patrol in Harlingen, Texas, our teams lifted and reinstalled all roof-mounted HVAC equipment to allow for the reroofing of the entire facility. Installation and fabrication of ductwork with windstorm-rated curbs were included in the scope, which allowed for a Windstorm Certification of the facility.

Brownsville International Airport

At the Brownsville International Airport, we were part of the team that completed the installation of the HVAC System for the new 92,000-square-foot Airport Terminal and Customs and Border Protection building. Our scope included prefabrication of all stainless-steel moldings, trim and corner guards that were fed from the four large air handlers, dedicated outside air … Continued

University of Texas RGV Vivarium

This project included the installation of new mechanical systems which included ductwork and underground piping that tied into the existing central plant piping loop. Our scope included adding a redundant air-cooled chiller and boiler to satisfy the additional capacity to the existing plant. Our teams tapped into underground CHW/HW piping, installed exposed and concealed stainless-steel … Continued

Texas State Technical College

We have completed multiple projects at Texas State Technical College, serving the customer’s needs of retrofitting and improving the efficiencies and effectiveness of their mechanical systems. One of the projects completed was the installation of a new Central Utility Plant. We utilized 3D scanning and BIM for Pre-Construction and prefabrication of the entire plant to … Continued

Brownsville ISD (BISD) Aquatic Center

At the Aquatic Center for Brownsville ISD, our team completed a retrofit of the existing mechanical systems serving the interior space of the building and pool’s heating system. Our solution addressed the owner’s concerns of improving the space temperature, humidity and failing equipment. We replaced two large self-contained DX units with new fabricated rooftop ductwork, … Continued

La Joya ISD – Palmview HS

In partnering with La Joya ISD and Palmview High School, our team retrofitted three cooling towers serving the chilled water system. The utilization of 3D scanning and BIM enhanced our Pre-Construction approach and installation measures since we were able to prefabricate the polymer piping system. These measures assisted in minimizing downtime for the owner and … Continued

Harlingen ISD – Early College HS
